Mission Statement
 
Vision 2020 Inc of Red Boiling Springs, TN, shall have as its purpose:
 
  • Stimulate interest and awareness of our history
  • Encourage app
    reciation of the attributes of our community
  • Promote preservation of historic resources
  • Combat community deterioration
  • Create an environment that will improve the quality of life

 


Future for Vision 2020!
 
Welcome Signs
 
The TN Department of Transporation has approved the design!!!  The committee will begin purchasing the required materials.  Then, highly skilled,dedicated volunteers will construct the first new "Welcome" sign on Highway 52 (near Nestle). Additional signs will follow.
 
 Restore Historic Bank Building
 
Once restored, a museum will be created to honor the history of our
community and its citizens.
 
Tennessee Downtowns
 
Vision 2020 Inc. applied to the TN Department of Economic Develpoment to participate in this competitive grant program.  Volunteers will attend a multi-month training to learn about comprehensive, sustainable dowtown revitalization and historic preservation. Once completed,  a grant will be issued to implement a downtown development project.
 
Future Visions
 
  • Revitalize the downtown business district
  • Create partnerships to promote all that Red Boiling Springs has to offer...

Walking Quilt Trail
 
  
The trail begins at the intersection of Witcher Hollow Road and East Main Street (between the historic Donoho Hotel and Thomas House).  Then continues north through the city parks and downtown; ending at Bilbrey Park.
